Peanut Butter and Jelly Donation Drive
In the month of July and in August leading up to this meeting, the Mississippi Healthcare Executives chapter is partnering with Memorial Health System and Extra Table to collect jars of peanut butter & jelly to help fight hunger in Mississippi. Peanut butter is one of the most frequently requested items by food banks because it is kid-friendly, shelf-stable, and protein-rich. Donations of peanut butter, grape jelly, and cash will be accepted virtually, on-site during this meeting, and in various locations around the state!
The Mississippi Healthcare Executives chapter is the state chapter of the national American College of Healthcare Executives, the professional society for healthcare leaders committed to improving health. Memorial Health System's clinics, hospitals, and health care facilities provide world-class care to south Mississippi and the Gulf Coast. EXTRA TABLE is the amazing partnership launched in 2009 by well-known restaurateur Robert St. John to make a difference in the lives of Mississippians by raising funds to stock food pantries and soup kitchens across the state with wholesome, nutritious food.
*Please purchase 16 ounce jars of peanut butter and jelly, not the massive family sized jars.
